G-SDAM is part of the Austrian Grid Project, funded by the Austrian BMBWK (Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Culture), contract GZ BMWF-10.220/0002-II/10/2007.
There are several workpackages defined concerning infrastructure, middleware as well as applications. This workpackage is M-4a (Middelware / Databases and Datamining) and our goal is to develop a semantic data access middleware for scientific Grids and the Austrian Grid in particular. The workpackage is handled and executed by the Institute for Applied Knowledge Processing (FAW), Johannes Kepler University Linz; the leaders are A.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Wolfram Wöß and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Roland Wagner. Assistents: Martin Blöchl and Dipl.-Ing.(FH) Andreas Langegger.
